Why Brand Impact

As a senior brand expert with a background in media design, I have been at home in the world of design, branding, communication and marketing since the beginning of my career.

Starting with design and branding in the global pharmaceutical industry, my career quickly led me into brand and communication strategy, its implementation and launch into global markets.

Storytelling is part of my coaching for start-ups. The founding story is a valuable asset for winning over stakeholders.

This background and my newly acquired methodological knowledge in the field of sustainability open a new niche for me:

I can translate between the language of marketing and sustainability reporting and convert data into concrete messages for external communication.

Marketing tools are essential for driving behavioural change. The power of this can be seen in how our consumption habits have exploded, and with them the climate crisis we are experiencing today.

Today, I use the power of brands to create impact for people and planetary health and the power of marketing as a positive force to drive social change.

My transformation from a healthcare brand consultant to the founder of a sustainability impact advisory came during COVID, prompted by the big question:

‘What is the point of developing brands for human health when the planet is in danger?’

Many diseases are caused by environmental pollution or unhealthy diets.

That’s when I realised that I wanted to use my expertise holistically for the well-being of people and the planet.

Because our health is directly linked to the health of our planet.
Period.

If the climate crisis and environmental pollution continue, we will be faced with unsafe living conditions and a diet that introduces too many chemicals into our bodies and increases the potential for lifestyle diseases.

By highlighting these connections in my work, I create ‘aha’ moments. Every ‘aha’ moment can bring about a change in behaviour. That is exactly what I want to achieve.

With the brands I build, the campaigns.

But classic brand strategy work also contributes to this. Developing brands from the inside out creates credibility and the greatest added value.

Today, I am fully in tune with my vision and my value system. I use my expertise for the health of people and the planet.
