SurPose is a love project. Nothing less.
It started in 2022 after an IMD course:
A group of business leaders were on fire, ready to go and take action.
Gesa Bury, then a healthcare brand consultant, took the initiative, engaged the group of IMD peers to establish a foundation.
Our vision: empowering sustainability leadership in the global business world.
Over time, the group of other business experts who shared the same vision grew, and the need to generate an income became increasingly important.
The plan to build a profit-for-purpose company was born, and with that, strategy development gained momentum and the vision became bolder month by month.
Today, we operate under the name Sustainability Ambassadors United.
The three business areas under this thematic umbrella cover everything the world needs to drive sustainable change in the economy and society.
Our vision is strong, as is our value system.
Together, we are committed to making a difference for people, the planet and profit.
A long journey of discovery is now nearing its destination:
a team of change makers has formed and we are ready to lead the business world into a sustainable future.
Some may ask: WHY NOW?
We are living in a global poly-crisis with a counter-movement to sustainability in all regions, policy areas and industries.
It is the ever-growing community of change makers, the increasing signs from nature and our realisation that science is right that give us the strength to move forward with even more passion. The urgency to act now for our children, grandchildren and future generations is NOW.
